Behind Good Source is a small team of real people with firsthand experience across the nonprofit world, and a shared belief that better decisions start with better information.

We saw the same problem from different angles: data that was fragmented, outdated, difficult to navigate, and increasingly automated without enough human context behind it.

So we built the resource we wanted.

Good Source began as a platform developed for our own work, shaped over years of real research and real-world use. Now, we’re sharing it with others.

Our goal is simple: reliable, current information you can actually use, paired with thoughtful technology, white-glove onboarding, and support from real people who understand the work.
